Laugh out loud

Faith you made me laugh out loud when I remembered that horrific trip to ORU. I remember our hair was knotted beyond belief because of the windows being down. Do you remember two people from our class were making out in the back of the bus and Chris kept watching them? I can't remember if that was during the first or second trip that week.

This is so funny looking back at all these photos! Kudos to Maggie & the gang getting all this started! It is going to be so great to see everyone! We used to always complain about not being a "real" school. But once again we have made away to have something a real school has. So I hope everyone supports this. I have so many good memories of FOCA & met some awesome people! Just think Faith if I never got pulled out of Holmes & sent to FOCA you would have never married my cousin! LOL! I'm really excited to see my 94' class! I hope we can get all of us together! We had some awesome Times! And of course everyone else! Gosh, What's everyone been up to? Did we actually end up like everyone thought? I pulled out my "Senoir Book" & to see the predictions people made for the 10 year mark is hilarious! I have tons of pics that I will post up! Remember 94' class song smashing pumpkins "today is the greatest" But they made us use a friends a friend forever something something! LOL! So I hope I see all you peeps out there! and do this in another 10 yrs!

Better than email?

Hello to all of you survivors of the trauma that was FOCA. I recveived (sorry) an invite to this blog and I was thinking that this may be a better place to converse (vs. email) and may be a bit more coherent in nature due to the volume of responses. The pics are a riot, my God what a dork I was. Hey does anyone get the funny looks when asked where they went to high school or hesitate just a bit when you know you have to immediately follow up the name with; "It was a small private school" in response to the blank stares you receive?

Oh well it is great to know there are others, I have not seen anyone since high school and I was beginning to think it was all an elaborate and pathetic dream, I guess it really happened. OK gotta get back to work, just thought I would throw that out there. BTW, 15 stars every quarter was an unrealistic goal and grading those damn comic books with red pens at those weird tables was surreal.

Many students are showing an interest in attending Faith Outreach for the Sunday service prior to the Picnic. Please post if you are interested. I swear that the church won't catch on fire if we all show up together!

ORU

OK so if you were part of the crowd that rode that BlueBird Jail bus to ORU you know what I am talking about. Anyone remember collecting money, doing fundraisers, packing our bags, parents dishing out funds for food and stuff, and then we all hopped on the BlueBird and headed off to ORU. It was like a two day trip. No AC so we rode with the windows down.

...and when we got there there were like NO OTHER SCHOOLS THERE! What! We were sent on the wrong week. It turns out we were one week early. So what did they do. Not set us up in a fly hotel. NO we drove all the way back to Texas and then the following week we drove back to ORU!

Any other memories about that trip?
